Clients We Accept:
Private and Medicare Clients
Please ensure you see your GP to discuss a Mental Health Care Treatment Plan prior to making an appointment if you wish to make a claim through Medicare. If you would like to seek a rebate through your private health insurer, it is your responsibility to determine eligibility and the rebates that will apply.
WorkCover
Please discuss with your case coordinator your eligibility for psychological services. You will have to provide us with your case number.
DVA
Please ensure that you have a D904 referral from your GP or treating psychiatrist for Allied Health 12 sessions cycle. We will also need your DVA card number and your approved mental health conditions.
Fees and Payments
Our ReBrain Psychology Practice has specific fees set for counselling services.
We are not a bulk-billing practice.
Initial and standard counselling sessions are all charged at a fee of $220 for a 51 minute appointment.
Medicare rebates on our services will be $89.65. If eligible to receive a rebate, the out of pocket expense for each session will be $130.35.

You will need to pay for your session prior to or at the time of your appointment. Our practice uses a secure online platform for processing payments. This does mean we require you to provide credit or debit card details, which will be stored in line with strict security standards and privacy laws.
We are unable to take payment via EFTPOS or cash.

Cancellation Policy
We require 48 hours notice for cancellations and re-booking of appointments. This allows us to offer your appointment time to other clients that are waiting to see us.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will attract cancellation fees as follows:
0-24 hours notice: 100% ($220 inc. GST)
24-48 hours notice: 50% ($110 inc. GST)
Cancellation fees will not be eligible for rebates. WorkCover and DVA clients will have to pay for cancellations.
